A trip to the Oregon Coast practically requires saltwater taffy. We don’t make the rules.
Fortunately, Lincoln City has plenty of places to satisfy your sweet tooth, whether you’re looking for homemade taffy, old-fashioned candy, fudge, chocolate, or enough sugar to keep the kids going long after you’ve run out of energy.
If you’re ready for something sweet, add these Lincoln City candy stores to your list.

Candyland
You’ll know you’ve found Candyland when you spot the bright red building along Highway 101.
Located at 1806 NE Highway 101 in Lincoln City’s Oceanlake District, Candyland is the kind of candy store where choosing what you want may take a while. The shop is known for its large saltwater taffy selection, retro candy, gourmet chocolates, and souvenirs.
The retro selection is especially fun if you’re traveling with multiple generations. You might find something you haven’t seen since childhood, or introduce the kids to candy that’s been around a lot longer than they have.
And, of course, there’s taffy. Lots of it.

Read’s Homemade Candies
For a true Lincoln City candy tradition, head to Read’s Homemade Candies at 1009 NW Highway 101.
Read’s specializes in homemade saltwater taffy, and the candy is made right at its Lincoln City shop. Even better, you can watch the old-fashioned taffy machine cut and wrap the individual pieces. The shop offers plenty of flavors, ranging from familiar favorites to more unusual choices.
This is a particularly good stop if saltwater taffy is one of those things you simply have to buy whenever you’re at the Oregon Coast. Fill a bag with a mix of flavors, try to remember which wrapper belongs to which one, and hope you don’t accidentally eat the flavor someone else was saving.

The Chocolate Frog
If your definition of a proper candy haul involves chocolate, make your way to The Chocolate Frog.
Located at 316 SE Highway 101, this Lincoln City shop specializes in locally made saltwater taffy, chocolates, and fudge. You’ll also find old-fashioned candy, imported German chocolates, and other specialty foods, along with locally made gifts, jewelry, and more.
And yes, there are actual chocolate frogs. The shop’s namesake treats come in a variety of flavors, making them an especially fitting Lincoln City souvenir for anyone who believes a souvenir should be edible.

Snack Attack
Snack Attack is another option when the craving hits. Located at 100 Highway 101, this Lincoln City candy store offers another place to browse for sweets while you’re exploring town. It’s particularly convenient if your idea of vacation involves making several snack stops throughout the day instead of committing to just one.
No judgment here. You’re on vacation.

My Petite Sweet
Technically, My Petite Sweet is a bakery rather than a traditional candy store. But we’re talking about satisfying a sweet tooth, and excluding it would be difficult.
Located at 1710 NE Highway 101, the Lincoln City bakery is known for its gourmet cupcakes and other baked treats. It’s a good alternative when you’re craving cake, pastries, or another freshly baked treat rather than a bag of candy.

Make your own Lincoln City candy tour
The nice thing about hunting for sweets in Lincoln City is that you don’t have to choose just one place.
Start with homemade taffy at Read’s, browse the retro selection at Candyland, look for chocolate at The Chocolate Frog, and save room for a bakery stop at My Petite Sweet. By the end, you’ll have either found a favorite or conducted enough research to justify another trip. For science, obviously.
